Christene Vaughan is an active member of The Shepherd’s Church. She has been married to her husband Jeff for 34 years. They have 4 adult children that all came up through our church’s Student Ministry. Christene has served as a Student Ministry leader for 9 years, and has been the director of our His Voice Student Choir in the past for 6 years. She and her husband currently serve in our Awana ministry over the last 10 years.

Christene is music teacher at Horton Middle School, and in her 16th year of teaching. She has a desire to serve again as our His Voice Choir director, and we are thankful for her willingness to serve in this way. Our mission at The Shepherd’s Church in the Music Ministry is to “make His praise glorious” (Ps. 66:2b). We believe that resuming the His Voice Choir is a way to fulfill this mission, and to encourage a singing culture in our church.
